Amb. Prof. Mohamed A. Qubaty

Amb. Prof. Mohamed A. Qubaty is an Ambassador in Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former Cabinet Minister, former Senior Political Adviser to three Yemeni Prime Ministers, and Emeritus Professor. He is a strategic affairs analyst specialising in geopolitical risk, maritime security, energy security, and strategic connectivity. His recent work has focused on the interdependence of maritime chokepoints and the development of alternative corridor architectures, including the ASTRA Corridor concept. He is also a frequent commentator on regional and international television networks. His articles and commentaries have appeared in numerous international and regional publications, including Eurasia Review, The Washington Outsider, Ahram Online, Al-Ayyam, and 14 October.
