Bako Kheladze is a political and security analyst specializing in the Middle East, Caucasus, and the wider post-Soviet space. He is an Associate Advisor at Outpost Eurasia, and a Non-resident Fellow at Irregular Warfare Initiative. Earlier, Bako served as a Press Officer at the Embassy of Georgia to the Islamic Republic of Iran. His research and commentary have been published by leading international institutions, including Turan Research Center, the London School of Economics, the Institute for Security and Development Policy, and Confluences Méditerranée. He graduated with an MA in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester, where his research focused on the strategic significance of the South Caucasus for Iran’s national security. He speaks Georgian, Persian, English, and Russian.
